ROLLERS

Rollers primary purpose is for pulling cables from drums into trenches & ducts. Rollers help in the smooth movement of cables through-out the trench/duct without any friction or load. In simple words, rollers help the pulling process to be easier than when compared to pulling just with hands.

A single type of roller, cannot be used at all locations & situations. Different locations & situations require different sort of rollers. Which is why at Elfit Arabia, we manufacture rollers in various sizes, shapes & dimensions for facilitating pulling applications in different locations. Our rollers are of High Quality and Long Lasting, which is why they work perfectly by many companies even after years of continuous use and cables can also be pulled with ease.

We provide our customers with a variety of type of rollers to choose according to their specifications. Hence, the rollers that we make available for our customers are as follows:

1.TRENCH CABLE ROLLERS (STRAIGHT PULLING APPLICATION)

These are Rollers that are basically used for pulling in a straight path. The Rollers vary depending upon the diameter of the cable. A normal Straight Cable Roller is used for pulling cables of less density, whereas Heavy Duty Rollers are used for pulling much heavier cables where the normal Straight Cable Roller cannot be used. Where the Long Base Rollers are used for laying in long-ranged trenches, the Narrow Base Rollers are used for laying in short-ranged trenches. The Frames are either Powder Coated or Galvanised while the Rollers are Hot Dip Galvanised in accordance with BS-729 and the finish is fabricated with Black Steel. CABLE GUIDE ROLLERS

Cable guide Rollers are primarily focused towards pulling and laying the cables in trenches which vary in depths, without the usage of normal rollers. The Draw Off Roller mainly comprises of a Steel Tube Roller placed on a Heavy Duty Angle Steel Base for maximum stability when pulling. Also, a “STEP ROLLER or STAND” will be attached along with the Roller in order to increase the height and thereby the cables are placed at the most accurate position. The height of the STEP ROLLER can be made according to customer’s requirements.

The Cable guide and Support Rollers, mainly consist of two guiding and supporting rollers which are placed in a “V-SHAPE”. The Pulley body is made of High Precision Steel Tube. Like the Draw off Roller, the Cable Guide & Support Roller is also provided in Powder Coated and in Galvanised form as well. The customer also gets the option to choose between Light Duty and Heavy Duty Guide Rollers. The Rollers are usually placed right in front of the cable drum, so that the cable can be centralized and it can be placed into the trench with accuracy.

BEND ROLLERS

The Bend Rollers mainly focus on helping cable pulling applications around bends without inflicting damage to them. Also with these rollers, the cables can be pulled with less effort, while the friction is also reduced.

The Vertical Roller consists of nine vertical Steel Rollers mounted on a heavy duty frame. The Vertical Roller is actually used in combination with the Horizontal Roller for pulling cables whose size goes beyond 130mm.

The Horizontal Roller mainly consists of two rollers which are placed horizontally and another roller is placed vertically outside on the frame. The Frame for both Horizontal and Vertical Rollers can be given with Powder Coated or Galvanised finish.

The Skid Plate with Horizontal Roller and the Skid Roller serve the same purpose as the other rollers for cable pulling applications around the bends. Cables upto 130mm size in diameter can be pulled using these two rollers. The Skid Plate with Horizontal Roller consists of four rollers placed horizontally on a steel base frame which is bent in order for pulling around bends. This is provided both in Galvanised or Powder Coated finish.

The Skid Roller consist of just one roller placed on a steel base frame which is also bent similarly like the Skid Plate with Horizontal Roller. But the Skid Roller contains stake pins so that multiple rollers can be joined together. The specifications of various bend rollers are as follows:-

SUSPENSION AND MANHOLE ROLLERS

As the name suggests, the Suspension Rollers are usually used in places where the cables have to be placed from the floors onto overheads or on cable trunks. The Suspension Rollers can be provided in two forms. i.e. Heavy Duty and Light Duty.

The Heavy Duty focuses on taking the initial strain on much heavier cables when they are lifted from the floor and taken onto the cable trunkings. The Light Duty focuses on less heavier cables while used for the same purpose. Both the Rollers are hung from a cross beam for overhead laying. These are usually used in building construction purposes. Both the Rollers frames are either Powder Coated or Galvanised as per customer specifications, while the rollers are made of High Precision Steel Tube.

The Cable Protection Rollers are used for similar purposes and are made of Precision Steel Tube running on heavy duty sealing ball. It also contains adjustable spindle with tetragonal thread and is available with single or double rollers.

The Manhole Triple Roller unlike Suspension Roller is usually placed at either the pit or manhole’s entrance or at the end. The Rollers are mainly used to help lay cables on overhead cable trays. It mainly consists of three rollers made of Precision Steel Tube. The frame meanwhile can either be Powder Coated or Galvanised.
